Extremely happy to finally be able to show you our latest collab with artists and photographers Florence Campbell and Lua oliver. Gleaners of memory is an exploration of identity, a compilation of collective memory that comes to life through the artists as they embody this contemporary NIMPHS creature. By the artists words: “We have travelled to different places, objects and identities through coincidences, accidents and connections and we are on this set (or in this limbo) with ourselves and our self-portraits to say that we have learned to question absolute, simple and unique identities. We are them all! Not nymph-muses, nor caricatures nor doppelgängers, rather all spaces and alterities in the present. These origins, influences and decisions, all these journeys construct our identity.” Here a pair of wearable sculpture shoes made from earth, plants and old cables.
