Dragging the leg is one of my favorite backside maneuvers for speed control and placement. I used to watch Ron Cassidy as a keiki surfing Honolua with this unique style. He would travel with the speed of the barrel, slotted as needed by lifting and dropping his back leg. I always thought this was so smooth and cool!
