We’re delighted to provide an update on our partnership with @tooyoungtowed - a nonprofit that works to empower girls and end child marriage. In August 2021, World of Women made a donation of $44,000 which was directed towards TYTW's programme in Kotulpogh village of West Pokot County, one of the most remote pastoralist areas of Kenya. Through our donation, TYTW, together with implementing partner @irepfoundation, launched the area's very first Shepherd School, providing education to hundreds of girls who have not enjoyed this right before. This special education program created with WoW's support will focus on building literacy and numeracy proficiencies, as well as life skills - providing children with access to foundational skills and knowledge that will bring lasting empowerment and opportunities.
