• @azn8tive_zr2 4 days/3 nights on the N Kaibab NF & N Rim GCNP. Rained almost the entire time but Mrs. G & I still njoyed the time together seeing places we haven't seen in 30 yrs and me seeing the old North Rim Lodge for the first time since I was a child. We saw some spectacular scenery that never gets old. Seeing it in the fog & clouds made for great vistas and pics. More to share in future posts New rig is wonderful...thanks @rossmonster_vans. Got a little update on old roads from @onxoffroad. Firefighting has brought me here several times over my career, so it wasn't unfamiliar. But sure was more pleasant seeing in full retirement uniform vs. Nomex and line gear. Yep, full retirement uniform...shorts, flip flops, and a T shirt, sleeves optional.
