January 30 2026- These are photos my son @hart.truman took yesterday at a teen protest in Los Angeles. I pause and remember that this kind of moment isn’t unusual for them. They have grown up with lockdown drills, watching school shootings turn into regular headlines. Seeing police violence on their phones before they were even fully aware of how the world works. Experiencing an election in 2016 that shifted their world in ways their young minds could never comprehend. There is a real loss of innocence here. Being introduced to broken systems long before you should have to understand them. And still, there is hope. Because instead of shutting down, they are showing up. Using their voices. Refusing to be quiet about the world they are inheriting. I am so proud. Well done, Vikings
