Last month, I sat down with @rogerparrilla and got another addition to my floral piece that was so intense I sweat entirely through the drape sheet on the chair. Those of you who have had your scalp tattooed: why??? Why does it feel like that? Why do we make these choices??? 😩😩😩😩😩 Anyway, I’m on a self-imposed break from tattooing for May and prob June because this nearly broke my spirit. BUT LOOK HOW GOOD IT CAME OUT. When I initially pitched Roger on this massive nature piece, I had assumed he’d have to work around my existing neck tattoos, but y’all. His color/shading work is out of this world. This is also the first glimpse of the darker shading and leaf work that will fill in all the blank space around the existing art. It’s gonna look phenomenal when it’s done. Anyway, get tattooed because it rules even when you’re whining about the voluntary choices you make.
