G i f t . the most precious gift my dad gave to me is humility.. being humble and kind.. to take your shoes off before entering. Not physical but really to take your shoes off your voice when you speak.. to take the shoes off your ego when you listening to the other. It made me wonder.. how much kindness around me have surrounded me over the years. and why I don’t like to have people in my circle who can’t even be quiet for a moment. Who can’t take there shoes off their ego… So just sit with this idea for a moment..do we truly ‘take off our shoes’ when stepping into a place, into a conversation, or into the presence of another? How often do we lay down the noise of ourselves, even for a moment, and listen with bare feet, with openness, with humility?
