I really believe that storytelling is our superpower. We share stories to connect with each other. We tell stories to teach something or to inspire people. Stories are being shared every day in music, film, dance, and even a simple caption like this. It’s so incredibly powerful and something I’ve have been fascinated with it since I was a little kid. I used to write plays that my friends and I would act out. I wrote songs. I wrote a half finished book. And now, I tell stories using video and photo. If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I don’t take a lot of photos. I’m more of a video person. But there’s something about street photography and capturing someone in their element that is just so intriguing and inspiring. I’m hoping to explore this craft more and more in the next year!
