I think it’s time we stop judging a book by it’s cover. ❤️ @bully.baloo I’ll never forget the look on my mom’s face when I first brought Baloo home, the day after I’d officially adopted him. It was almost as if she was wondering why I’d pick this one. Of all the dogs I could’ve brought home, I chose the one that would lead to endless amounts of bullying, stereotyping, and dirty looks from the general public. The one that would make me an outcast of a dog owner. But I did it anyway. Because I never looked at Baloo as a “pitbull” or a “bully breed”— I looked at him as an individual. Just another dog. It’s easy to look at these dogs and have preconceived notions of what they’d be like. Or what their owners might be like.
