Desire seeks pleasure. Whereas love simply shares an ecstatic bliss. Sometimes, you believe you’re unlovable because you’re no longer desired, but this is a mistranslation. You’re always lovable, but not everyone is capable of sharing that love with you – especially with the same level of pureness that you share.⁣⁣ ⁣ In a relationship, when love is scarce or is purely conditional, we know it. We can try to derive a logical explanation or make excuses that comfort us – but when love is absent, it becomes glaringly obvious. And when it’s consistently withdrawn, your intuition will urge you to move on.⁣⁣ ⁣ Often, we ignore the signs for the sake of our comfort, fears and our partner’s imagined potential. But, if we’ve exhausted all avenues and our partner isn’t committed to their growth, then there’s a good chance that their role on our path has expired. We must trust the process, especially if we know that we’ve done everything we can to make things work. Not everyone can remain in our life. Some people pass by but still contribute to our evolution, while others have longer-term roles.⁣ ⁣ When love is continuously lacking in a relationship, perhaps it’s time to move forward and vacate that space for a purer and more wholesome experience of love. In essence, we can’t lose a forever kind of love that we never honestly had. When you look back on a previous relationship, you may see that it mainly consisted of desire, pleasure and infatuation. Even if your love was unconditional for the most part, theirs might have been seeking something in return for the most part. Of course, this doesn’t mean they would’ve never shared a deeper love with you.
