Gingerbread Iced Coffee! Gingerbread Simple Syrup; In a small sauce pan whisk together 1/2 cup water with 1/2 cup brown sugar. Add in 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp ginger, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1/8 tsp cardamom and the smallest pinch of five spice powder. (If you don’t have five spice powder you can skip it all together) Cook it low on the stove just until the sugar fully dissolves.
