Microbes are everywhere! 🦠 They may not be visible to the human eye, but microorganisms have a huge influence on our lives. Humans need some to survive, while others are disease-causing pathogens. Therefore, it’s important for us to identify, monitor, and study these tiny organisms. Researchers are using the International Space Station as testing grounds to study microbes and how to keep astronauts safe during long-duration missions.
