“The Basics” Bracing the Core may be a task to coach up. A connection to the abdominal region may be essential to success in all other lifting and exercise patterns. To make said connection an individual has to “feel” the specific area. Listed in the video are 3 flexion exercises to enhance core development. 1. The Bird Dog 2. The Dead Bug 3. The Hollow Hold All 3 movements demand a flex or brace of the mid section. We strive to build tension in that area. Usually that tension provides immediate feedback to the brain. Brace it first. One could do that by simply holding a position. Attempt movement later.
