Police have blocked a busy northwest Atlanta road to investigate after a Fulton County deputy was found shot dead in a wrecked car Thursday morning. Officers responded to a person shot call around 4:30 a.m. When they arrived, police found a single car that appeared to have been involved in a wreck with another vehicle, though the other vehicle did not remain at the scene.
