Story clips from my handstand press practice 2018-2022. I wasn’t able to handstand back then. But just went for it anyway. 💁🏼‍♀️ I haven’t been practicing daily since 2018 of course, but overall I’d say that I only had one major break in between. (2019 for my pregnancy! ;)) Here is the thing: everyone is on their own timeline. Practice always translates to progress. But we have to believe in ourselves beyond a couple of months practice. We have to believe in ourselves enough to show up even when all we do at first feels like it’s a fail. Also find yourself a teacher that believes you can do it and helps you! (@ashleygalvinyoga 💙 - try her classes!!) When I look back at these first press walks in 2018 I remember how excited I was back then. I didn’t know what lay in front of me but it felt exciting to not know. A million possibilities... :) it motivates me to go back to a consistent strength and flexibility practice to clean up what I already learned and to learn more. Who knows where it will take me. What I do know though is that I and everyone else out there with me is waaaaayyyy stronger mentally and physically than we give ourselves credit for. 💪🏻 I hope I can motivate you to go for it. „It“ being whatever you want it to be.... ;) Let’s do it!
