PINCH OF GYUDON 🍲 This Japanese beef bowl screams comfort 🫶 On the table in <20 mins, it’s the perfect winter go-to when you want something filling and delish but you don’t want to slave over it! Daisho’s authentic Japanese sauce, which is available at Coles, is a game changer, saving ingredients and time, making this simple dinner even easier! I picked up the thinly sliced beef from the Asian freezer section 🫶 Time: 20 minutes Serves: 3-4 Skill: Easy Ingredients 📝 1⁄2 bottle Daisho Beef Sauce 1⁄2 cup water 1 brown onion, thinly sliced 300g thinly sliced beef 1 cup sushi rice 1 carrot, julienne slice Spring onion, julienne slice Furikake seasoning Other great additions ⭐️ Onsen egg Kewpie mayo Enoki mushrooms Pickled veg METHOD 👩‍🍳 1. Cook rice as per instructions on pack. 2. Whilst rice is cooking, prepare onion and beef. In a medium sized pan, add Daisho sauce along with water and onion and bring to a simmer. 3. Once onion begins to soften, add sliced beef and cook for 4-5 minutes until beef is fully cooked and sauce has thickened slightly. 4. Serve on hot rice, garnish with carrot, spring onion and furkikake seasoning.
