New work for the @travelandleisure October issue featuring the chicest clogs for this autumn. We shot this at the height of summer, and I really struggled to put myself in an autumnal mindset; it’s my least favorite season due to the sad tapering of those romantic, endless summer nights. I was inspired by all my post-run walks this summer, when the moonlight seeping through the slivers of tree leaf silhouettes cast the most ethereal shadows. I wanted to impart how those shadows make me feel, while also relaying a sense of seasonal change and October’s crispy air. The frosty effect of diffusion paper felt like the perfect way to signal a slight chill, while still showcasing the brilliant colors of the leaves.
