We all deserve to know more about one another so we can know more about ourselves. Link in Bio. Repost from @atmos • @vicbarrett_ is not backing down in the face of the federal government. Though best known for being one of the youth plaintiffs in the high-profile lawsuit Juliana v. the United States, Vic Barrett is so much more than his climate activism. Nowadays, Barrett is taking the time to reconnect to his queerness, explore his identity as an Afro-Indigenous, Latino, trans man in America—and spread love and positivity while doing so. But balancing his intersecting identities isn’t always easy. “The fact is that sometimes I wake up, and it’s a little bit harder for me to show up in the same way that it might be for someone else,” Barrett says. Despite the obstacles, Barrett is committed to exploring and learning more about himself—and channeling that self-discovery into making the world a better place.
