Living The Legacy. This moment was captured by the amazing @noemiemarguerite in Washington Heights, NYC inside the @theshabazzcenter just steps away from the Audubon Ballroom where Malcolm X was assassinated February 21, 1965. The center of such tragedy has been transformed into a place of love, light and reflection to honor the great Malcolm X and Betty Shabazz. I had the honor of guest DJ to perform “Malcolm X Day” last week to celebrate what would have been his 97th birthday inside this exceptional space. I would like to thank @michaellatt , The Shabazz Family and all of the contributing members for including me in such a tremendous occasion. 🙏🏽
