Summer 2022 Hair Product Routine 🌞 (in order of use)⁣ ⁣ 1. PRE-SHAMPOO TREATMENT - Currently have @burburcare Pre-Treatment Burdock Root Hair Oil in rotation. About an hour before washing, I apply and massage into my scalp and run the excess through the rest of my hair. Using an oil pre-treatment prepares my scalp for washing + helps the rest of the products I use perform even more efficiently. ⁣ ⁣ 2. SCALP SCRUB - I love @theouai Scalp & Body Scrub, as it’s powerful yet gentle enough to get rid of any buildup while balancing the moisture in my scalp. I forgot this step a couple washes again and immediately noticed flakes in my hair, so I definitely recommend for anyone suffering from dandruff/flakey scalp. ⁣ ⁣ 3. CLEAN SHAMPOO - Always try to use as many clean products as possible, not only for skincare/makeup but hair, as well. I use @colorwowhair Color Security Shampoo, which is 100% clean. Somehow, even as I’m lathering onto my scalp, my hair feels soft as I’m using this. ⁣ ⁣ 4. HAIR MASK - Still using @amika Soulfood! I love this one because it only requires a minimum of 5 minutes to sit (as opposed to most that are 10-20 minutes), and the difference just within those 5 minutes is amazing. ⁣ ⁣ 5. CLEAN CONDITIONER - The companion to its shampoo, the @colorwowhair Color Security Conditioner works well after my hair mask. It won’t leave your hair feeling thick (in the bad way!), it’s gentle and light just like its partner shampoo and helps even more to retain that moisture. ⁣ ⁣ 6. HAIR SERUM - I’ve been using @olaplex No. 9 since it came out, and I can’t part with it now. It’s a hair serum that I apply when I take my @aquishair Hair Wrap off/ right before I blow dry. One time as I started blow drying, I was wondering why my hair wasn’t as shiny or drying as nicely as it usually did - I quickly applied No. 9, as I had forgotten to, and my hair immediately started behaving differently.
