Answering your FAQ from my last video! Using large format tile can save you thousands of dollars! Large format tiles come as large as 30”x60”! You could use that for even a large vanity! I used a 24x36” one here. Yes it’s perfectly safe and strong to use porcelain tiles. You walk on them as flooring so why wouldn’t you be able to use them on your countertop?! 🤔 The only thing to factor in is the thickness of the tile as well as the color the inside of the tile is when you cut it. I would 100% do it for a white countertop because typically the inside of the tile will be white so it will looks seamless. With black you never know what the inside color is. Mine was grey which was a surprise I found after he installed it. 😂 You will still also need a fabricator to miter the edges to get the correct thickness.
