Elevate your gameday experience with our Avocado Oil based Jalapeño Poppers. Recipe below! Recipe: 12 jalapeños 8 oz cream cheese, softened 4 oz cheddar or pepper jack cheese, shredded 2 cloves garlic, minced 3 green onions, finely chopped 6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled (optional) 1⁄2 cup panko breadcrumbs (regular or gluten free) 2 tsp Madhava Avocado Oil BBQ Sauce Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees 2. Blanch jalapeños in boiling water for 2-3 minutes to soften. Place in ice water. Use gloves to cut jalapeños in half lengthwise 3. Mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic, green onion and 3⁄4 of the bacon bits in a bowl and split between 24 popper halves. Leave 1⁄4 of the bacon on the side for on top of poppers. 4. Mix breadcrumbs with Madhava Avocado Oil and sprinkle over the poppers before baking to achieve the perfect popper crunch! 5. Bake at 400 degrees for 18-25 minutes. About halfway through baking, remove poppers from oven and drizzle barbecue sauce. Return to oven. 6. Once out of the oven top with remaining crumbled bacon, drizzle BBQ sauce, cool and enjoy!
