God Save The Ball! This is a great tradition where all the newest United Pilots are welcomed to the airline by current and retired United Pilots in a fun celebration of their dreams coming true. The most junior pilot is given the honor of being the “8 Ball”, tasked with protecting the sacred orb for the week until a new class is welcomed and hence a new “8 Ball” is announced.
