Better On My Own is out now on @farriswheelrecordings 🎡 I wrote this tune 2 years ago and I distinctly remember falling in love with the vocals and not being able to put a finger on what it was about them 🤔 A month later, the same lyrics suddenly made a lot of sense to me, almost telling the story of the the exact situation I was in at the time. There was something so serendipitous about the way the track wrote itself, almost foreshadowing the breakthrough I was about to have ❤️‍🩹 There comes a time in your life and in your relationships where the tables start to turn. You start to see yourself as the main character in your own story for a change and start to put yourself first. Starting to recognize your self worth like this is a game changer. It’s what makes it possible to say goodbye to the people and the dynamics that drag you down and that don’t serve you - because you now know that at the end of the day, you have your own back, and that’s all that matters 💝 If you’ve caught any of my sets over the last 2 years you’ve probably heard me rinse this one out plenty, singing it at the top of my lungs on stage. It’s been empowering and healing all at once and I’m so happy to finally share this anthem with the world.
