Dear 2nd Semester, You were a beast. Testing my patience every second you got. And that wasn’t great. Quite literally I got COVID the 2nd week and never fully recovered from that. But I thank you for all the changes you brought me. Golden age is certainly not my style but you stretched me in ways I wouldn’t ever do. I got to play roles such as “Sally Bowles” and “Georg Norwak” which was absolutely crazy! I myself would have never tried those characters out. But my teachers wanted to push me. I think my favorite song I worked on was “Maybe This Time” from Cabaret. Even though I have realized I do not like the musical :] that’s ok. I got to test a role that was so far from my comfort zone. And it was amazing. Something else that challenged me this semester was dance. I am certainly no dancer , and even 2 semesters in I am still not a dancer. But I am a mover! The class I learned so much in was jazz. I learned that it’s ok to have fun. And that’s something I struggle with when it comes to dance. I never thought I’d be good at it, but I am improving so much. That’s why you go to school though. To improve. So I’m glad I was able to . To my Cohort . The lovely B’s <3 You all have such a light to you all. The dedication you put into the craft is amazing and I cannot thank you enough for such an amazing semester. I adore you all and hope to work with you guys again ! Weather that be here or in the future. Second semester was such. A time. For me mentally. I didn’t think I’d make it through but here I am. And I’m ready to take on third <3 halfway through NYC
