Hi! I’m Dana : ) the founder of Ronny Bass. I’m 28, I’m a Gemini, and I live in Chicago, which is consequently my favorite place in the world. I’m non-binary and use they/them pronouns. I started RB in 2020 and named the brand after my favorite football player, Ronnie “Sunshine” Bass. A lot of y’all think my name is Ronny. It’s not, but nickname growing up was Sunshine : ) I grew up loving fish, and studied marine biology. And I like this photo because I think I still look like the same kid who memorized species for fun and something about it looks underwater to me. Since my start in science, I’ve followed my gut through a lot of different turns and now many of you know me here. I love it here! 💕 & I created this brand because I wanted to find words for the deep gratitude I feel through personal style. For a little over two years now it’s been my goal to share that with others by creating affirming pieces at accessible price points. My hope is that while shopping Ronny Bass you feel seen, and that you find some sort of inspiration through the community I love so much on this crazy app. My goal in year 3 is to start to give more voice to where I’m at as a designer, and what internally inspires my shifting palettes, textures, and thoughts. To connect more dots between the lines a stingray leaves in the sand and the lines I just carved on a rubber stamp. Between the Wild Max inside me and the crown you so often see on my work.
