Visit the exterior of Toronto's City Hall to view my solo Project T-Dot photo exhibit on Toronto's hip-hop culture, community, and history, until Monday, September 5, 2022.
The exhibit is available outdoors, 24 hours per day, seven days per week. It is also shielded from the rain and far larger than it appears online.
As I currently work on my second solo Project T-Dot photography exhibit and the many other aspects of my documentary project on Toronto hip-hop, which has been in production since 2006, I am filled with awe and gratitude for the many implications of my exhibit at City Hall, the fantastic people and organizations involved, the countless people that have visited the show, the conversations that it has started, and the doors that it has opened for me, my colleagues, and Toronto's hip-hop community as a whole.
I will be reflecting on, writing about, and speaking about my largest exhibit to date for the rest of my life, as it has been a game changer for me that has brought most aspects of Toronto's hip-hop culture into the public eye.
Although Project T-Dot has been in production since 2006, as far as I am concerned, the exhibit at City Hall is only the beginning, and I will do everything in my power to ensure that Toronto becomes the first major city with a single project that meticulously documents and describes its hip-hop culture and community, as no such undertaking exists to represent the hip-hop cultures of New York City, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Paris, Rio De Janeiro, Shanghai, and so on.
More great news concerning Project T-Dot is on the way.
Thank you, Toronto.
