Hello! 👋🏾 I'm @ashayebrown author of Dream Country and I'm so excited to be taking part in @sharethemicpublishing today with @madeline.e.miller Madeline has generously handed over her platform to me for the day as part of this important diversity initiative. Just like Madeline and all of you, I am a huge fan of mythology. I love to spend my time exploring diverse cultures whose myths and folklore are yet to be celebrated as much as they should be. For me, my writing was a chance to bring these myths and cultures together, specifically those of the African diaspora. Dream Country is a Young Adult Fantasy infused with Jamaican, Kenyan and Brazilian mythology.
