Ten years ago yesterday, I launched an organization dedicated to ending our nation’s gun violence epidemic. After the tragedy at Sandy Hook, I said “enough” and decided to devote my life to this fight. I’m so proud of what @GiffordsCourage has accomplished alongside courageous survivors, legislators, and advocates. We’ve passed more than 525 gun safety laws in nearly every state in the nation. This summer, after tragedies in Buffalo and Uvalde, we finally managed to do what we couldn’t after Sandy Hook: pass bipartisan gun safety legislation at the federal level. To everyone who has worked alongside @GiffordsCourage in the past decade, you are why things can and will continue to change. Thank you, and I will never stop fighting alongside you.
