It’s been almost two months since we wrapped up our vanlife adventure. TWO MONTHS. So much time has passed yet so little happened (hence the radio silence on stories lately). The novelty of unlimited hot showers and a flushing toilet had quickly worn off and before we knew it, we found ourselves craving that “life on the open road” type feeling. With all its inconsistencies and inconveniences. Not to mention nature. Oh, boy. Do we miss waking up to the sound of crashing waves or sheep baa-ing in the distance🥲 We’re still certain that parting ways with Sky (our van) is the right decision for us at the moment. But there’s no way we’ll be voluntarily tying ourselves up to one place anytime soon. Nah-ah. Nope. So what have we been up to lately? We’ve moved into our friends’ spare room for a few months (super grateful to have a safe place to stay) while we plan our future adventures and save some extra cash. We gave Sky a little make over and put her up for sale. Fingers crossed she’ll find a new loving family soon🤞 Once the sale is finalized, we’ll be able to go ahead and purchase the tickets to Bangkok to start a new chapter in our lives!
