Jin Meyerson has led a towering life inhabiting the extremes in every regard physically, emotionally, intellectually. He is formidable in this regard and has challenged many, including myself, to test those boundaries. Some accept that challenge and some don’t. He is equally generous in his unwavering support of young artists here in Korea providing insight, opportunities and his influence to mentor the ones he respects. I’ve been witness to this. This exhibition was co-curated by another friend, Andy St. Louis, who I believe is one of the most insightful writers supporting the scene here in Korea.
