As a young haumana of Kamehameha III in Lahaina, my 3rd grade class and I had the amazing opportunity to meet and learn from @huiowaa meeting Capt. Timi and crew while getting hands on with kōkua on the early stages of the beautiful Wa’a Kaulua, Mo’okiha o Pi’ilani! To be sailing on this Hawaiian Sailing Canoe on the Pailolo channel yesterday was sentimental. Grateful to be apart of the ola of Mo’okiha o Pi’ilani and experience the journey from land to water!
