It’s with a very heavy and sad heart that I post this. One of the most important people in my life, my step-dad, Pastor Jerry Skelton, passed away yesterday morning. I’ve known this man since I was 10 years old. I created so many headaches for this man growing up, we didn’t always see eye to eye, but he is one of the most honorable men I’ve even known. And Honor to him to which Honor is due. I’ve never known someone to be as giving and selfless as this man. A pastor for 57 years, he has literally touched thousands of lives, including my own. No one prayed for me more and he molded me into the man I am today. You will be missed and I hope someday I’m at least half the dad that you didn’t have to be.
