My grandfather loves baseball and LOVES the @dodgers ! I can hear him constantly from his room every summer “hey bj (my nickname), its timeeeeeeee for dodgers baseball!” He always tells me “there is nothing more exciting than a home run and dodger stadium is the most beautiful place on earth”... With the lost of my Grandmother in 2020, I cherish every moment with my Grandfather like no other. For his birthday this year there was no price I wasn’t going to pay to take him to the 2022 Home Run Derby inside his “favorite place”. By far the hardest post I’ve ever created, so many tough guy tears just creating this reel. I don’t even have the words to describe how much he means to me, but I thank God for allowing me to have this day with him and I know my Grandmother was cheering us on from above. 🙏🏾
