Celebrating the good, the challenging and the yet to be seen of being a mother and a witness to two new lives who I am blessed to have brought into this world. Not every moment is joyful, but those that are, are joyful beyond measure.✨ I instinctively know that my children are here to guide me to be my highest self, and in my better moments I am so grateful to them for encouraging me to prioritize what’s most important; to be love in the face of frustration, to surrender to what is directly in front of me, to let go of perfection, to be fully present, always. I am humbled that they both chose me to be their mother, and know in time I will see even more clearly why their souls and mine were destined for one another in this lifetime. Happy Mother’s Day to each of you who are celebrating this day today. Sending love to those who are mourning the loss of a child or a mother today. And holding space for those who have chosen not to become mothers because that choice deserves to be ours, wholly and unquestionably.
