Just finished watching @kidcudi new work w @netflix and I just wanna say the following things. I loved how it was a story focused on black love but not just any black love. this is gonna inspire the generations to come that work in the gig or freelance world that they can find love and to give people a chance. from the interactions between the friends and the advice they gave, to how honest both bari and meadows friends were with them even with the little jokes in between. Next was the art and when I say I was so happy with the color tones that were used and how they drew everyone out. it felt really good to see characters that share the same color as me look so good and be presented so well. Next is @dotdagenius and I just wanna say I’ve been waiting so long to hear his work in movies and television as a score and this was so good. In my opinion I suggest everyone watch this first before going and listening to the album and make sure you listen to it straight through so you can hear the story in the lyrics. i highly suggest this movie to everyone. I say and watched it with @sr.frk and though we weren’t neighbors it felt like I was reliving the first few times we met. we need more love in the world and this was a great addition to it. Congrats to everyone that worked on this project and I’m excited to see what’s to come next.
