People have asked me for years how I keep my hair so long, thick, and voluminous while regularly styling and coloring my hair. It’s no secret really! I make sure to regularly keep the ends healthy. I focus on the scalp and the ends and when I see either are dry I make movesss to fix it! A good @fableandmane scalp rub followed by a hair trim and then a hommade hair mask has been a regular part of my monthly self care routine. I found it’s the only way to keep my hair healthy because I also have coarse curly hair. I start by sectioning off my hair and then adding layers and cutting off the super dry pieces. I finish off by making sure that both sides line up. I wish I could say this started during covid but actually it started a long time before that. I have always had dry curly hair and didn’t always have the best practices to keep it healthy. So instead of hitting a salon monthly I started trimming the ends along with my annual haircuts with my stylist to try to keep it healthy and I’ve just continued the practice! This time I cut about 2 inches off but usually I do a lot less. Only a few cm to keep it healthy and so I can keep my hair long and continue to style it. #reelsinstagram #hack #hair #hairstyles #hairfun #haircut #selfconfidence #cuttinghair #health #beauty #beautybloggers #blog #makeup #makeupideas #transition #mua #muah #nyfw #newyork #fashionweek #makeuptutorial #look #india #instagram #gujarat #thick #thickhair #oilpulling
