one year ago I packed up my nyc apartment and moved across the country to a city that i’ve never visited and where I knew no one, just because I felt like it. over the past year i’ve grown so much as a person, becoming comfortable with my own company and doing things solely for myself. 2021 was the year where I finally prioritized my mental, physical, and spiritual self and damn did it pay off. I met some incredible people, strengthened my existing relationships, switched industries in my career,and even unexpectedly went viral on tik tok (lol) that led to so many other opportunities, and none of it would have happened if I decided to stay complacent with where I was at in life. i say all of this to say, so many beautiful things come towards you when you choose yourself. there is no chase, they simply flow in. so if you were looking for it, this is your sign to stop romanticizing a place where you’re unhappy and move somewhere that your soul feels called to. and for everyone who’s been apart of my journey this past year, thank you x a million. Here’s to a new year, who knows where i’ll end up next. <3
