Above any goals written on my mirror, my biggest goal is to be friends with my kids the rest of our lives. We all care deeply about helping people living in extreme poverty, and I dream about us getting to do that together one day. Parenting teens is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. In the hardest times, I try to keep the end goal in mind of “how would I approach this with a friend?” It also makes you thankful for your own mom. I called my mom recently and apologized to her for being a teen back in the day. 😂 Last night we talked about the 5 Love Languages and how we can love each other better in the ways that person receives it. Here’s to doing our best to connect, day by day.
