For people who have periods, abortion isn’t the only way our bodies are legislated. We need to fight to protect ourselves in every way we can. This is why I’m working with @repmaloney to pass a federal law requiring tampon companies to disclose what’s in their products and to educate women and girls to help them understand what they’re really putting in their bodies. My life was changed forever by toxic shock syndrome—and while I’m so grateful for where I am today, no one else should have to fight for life the way that I have. We deserve to have FULL control over our bodies, and that includes understanding what we put inside of them. These are basic human rights.
