Today I received the President of Pakistan’s Pride of Performance award!! The highest literary award for excellence in the field of music. Insane, needless to say this is a really beautiful and emotional moment for me because... it has felt extremely weird to leave a place behind, while carrying it so strongly in my heart all these years. A sincere ongoing love in exile here. Today that place has shown me a lot of love, after a really long time, and it feels fantastic. I am honored and grateful for the recognition.
