I have someone to share with you! Meet our son, Theo Clark. He is truly the most perfect miracle baby. 🤍 We were chosen by his incredibly strong birth mom to be his parents. We will be forever thankful she trusted us with the incredible honor of loving and raising him. Open adoption has expanded our family beyond the birth of our sons. It has allowed us to merge our family with both of our sons’ biological families in a unique way that will forever bond us. Adoption is not without complexities and pain but I will be eternally grateful our sons get to grow up knowing and experiencing such beautiful, open, abundant love from all sides. Theo had a pretty intense start and he has been spending the first weeks of his life in the NICU. He is doing really well and we are so thankful to the amazing nurses, doctors, social workers, therapists, and staff for all they have done. They have provided our family with comfort and care during a really scary time and made it feel less daunting. It has been an overwhelming few weeks but it looks like we are nearing the end of our NICU stay! I can’t wait for my babies to finally meet and for all of us to be together as a family of four.
