My Bizhí Kade 1st Laugh 🤎 Yesterday we celebrated my lil Bizhí 1st laugh. We as Diné believe that when a baby is born, they exists between two worlds: the Spirit World and the World of the Earth People. It is said that when a baby first laughs (A'wee Chideedloh), the Holy Ones have let go of their spirit to join the Earth People. My Bizhí first act of generosity is serving rock salt with the meal that is being served. I don’t really share my family but I wanted to share this moment. We are alway count our blessing. We are grateful for the good and the bad because it’s molding us into who we are. I am taking in all these moments and appreciating every bit of it. Yes, I am a business owner but I am so much more than that. Grateful for my little Bizhí who brought the Etsitty family together and the Maho family for hosting. 🤎
