Robin and Kainoa gave Vanessa and I’s oldest son for his first birthday a pair of Apalapa shorts. He is 10 now. First pic is our youngest wearing those same shorts enjoying the sunset just the other day. All 4 of our boys wore these shorts. They were always my favorite piece of clothing to put the boys in because of who they came from. Now they are that much more special to our family. I still am trying to digest what has happened to the best human I’ve ever known. Anyone who knew Kai would 100% agree that there just aren’t many humans like him out there.
