It’s been a very difficult week for a whole variety of reasons. It seemed like every day it just couldn’t get any worse, and then it did. Just wanted the week to be over, was feeling pretty down. In literally one minute, my week all of a sudden became better, and I got the push I needed to go to the keyboard (sorry it’s not the best!) and try to learn a portion of what @mckennafaithbreinholt had just shared a few minutes prior. At the @franklinsummerbash this past weekend, she gave the audience a sneak peak of her new original song, and then posted it tonight. I don’t have any words to describe just how healing this song is for me, and it was exactly what I needed to hear tonight. I can’t wait till she shares more of it, and for its release! Every single word is from the heart, thereby allowing people to really feel how authentic, beautiful, and genuine she is. Her music is so cathartic for me, and I love her more than words could ever express. Thank you @mckennafaithbreinholt for being so raw and vulnerable in sharing your exquisite song with the world. We all need to feel validated, seen and heard, and this song does just that. We’ve all been through something or other; it is important to talk and sing about these matters, and most importantly, to remove all stigmas associated with life’s vicissitudes, trials and tribulations. McKenna has always been a storyteller, and it is such a special gift she has to be able to emote in the most stunning way possible. I am in love with this song and can’t wait to buy her album! She has such a bright future ahead and I’m so happy for her and proud of her. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
