Growing up in a Cuban household in Miami, my family always had @gloriaestefan’s music blasting in the house. So much so that for my mom's 50th birthday, I flew her to New York and took her front row to see Gloria’s new broadway show “on your feet.” When my agent asked if I was interested in shooting Gloria and her daughter for the cover of @voguemexico and Latinoamerica, I jumped at the opportunity. I spent a day in Gloria's home, meeting her lovely daughter @emily_estefan and hanging out with @emilioestefanjr, listening to stories about the great Celia Cruz. They made me feel right at home. At the end of our shoot, I face-timed my mom, and Gloria came over and told her that she had an amazing son. I'll never forget the look on my mom's face.
