Their fundraising also helps wounded Ukrainian soldiers, and families of wounded and killed soldiers. • Necessities for Children and Families - UNICEF is at the forefront of the humanitarian response in eastern Ukraine to reach vulnerable children and families affected by the conflict with safe water to conflict-affected areas; pre-positioning emergency health, hygiene, and education aid as close as possible to conflict communities; and working with municipalities to ensure immediate help for children and families in need of support. • Relief for Displaced Ukrainians Coming to Poland - POLISH HUMANITARIAN ACTION provides humanitarian assistance including food and other forms of support to people affected by conflict, including internally displaced persons and refugees coming to Poland. • Protect Independent News - THE KYIV INDEPENDENT is one of Ukraine’s major English-language media outlets working to bring trusted, important information about the factors on the ground.
