🐘It’s World Elephant Day!🐘 Our longtime partners at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya are renowned for their work with elephants, operating the most successful orphaned baby elephant rescue & rehabilitation program in the world. The Orphans Project has hand-reared and released more than 280 orphaned elephants, of which over 180 have been reintegrated back into the wild, part of SWT’s holistic approach to saving Kenya’s share of the 400,000 wild elephants left in Africa, down from 1.9 million in 1979. 🐘Thank you for being a part of helping to save these amazing animals.🐘
