What makes you better than anyone else? What do you have that God hasn’t given you? And if all you have is from God, why boast as though you have accomplished something on your own? I’ve been meditating on this the past few days. I’m a girl who lovesssss to do. I love to do, go, accomplish, and move forward. It inspires the heck out of me to keep creating new things and learning and moving forward. But I also know when to be still. How to rest and live slowly sometimes. Soaking in every moment and choosing to be present and not miss a moment. It’s hard to do both all the time. Be so still that we don’t step into anything new. Or move to fast where we miss the season we are in. I am working through that balance and mastering “moving in the stillness” I’ve been thinking about how everything that I have in a sense “accomplished” thus far in life has all been yes by hard work. But also by God’s favor. He brings the people into my life that I need to meet, he brings the opportunity, he gets my heart ready and stirs up my confidence to walk into these rooms, he goes before me and sees what I can handle before pushing me in, everything is from him, not me.
