For Paradise High School's class of 2022, seniors have spent much of the past four years pivoting from campus to virtual learning to temporary classrooms and then back again. As freshman, they experienced the most destructive wildfire on record in California, displacing more than 90% of Paradise residents. It would be weeks before students would be able to return home and months before they were back in the classroom - only to be sent home again during their sophomore year at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
